Here is a fun exercise in creativity that can emulate the beauty of fall right outside your front door. This fabulous fall tree craft uses techniques that simply call for a straw and a tooth brush...(and a little something to keep the paint in the right places).
Start with a piece of art paper and black or brown ink. Add several drops of ink to the paper then invite your kiddos to use their drinking straw to blow the ink around, creating a tree trunk and branches.
After the trunk has dried, provide your young artists with red, orange, and yellow craft paint and invite them to splatter paint 'fall leaves' onto the trunk.
