Fun Fitness is a class provided to engage students in physical activity. Our goal is to encourage students to build strength and teach them the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Each week we will focus on different parts of the body and the benefits of strengthening them. The teachers will participate in all physical activities with the students, providing a fun and safe environment, securing the confidence of all children.

East Asia has had, and continues to leave, a lasting impression on the rest of the world. We will be exploring several different influences such as: kirigami, calligraphy, pottery, gardening, fireworks, and jewelry making. Participants can expect to complete five to six finished projects. All materials will be included.


Taught by Ms. Angela Thursdays 3:30-4:30

Tuck Everlasting is a story about magic, adventure, family and love. In this class, the students will read aloud, have discussions and do fun crafts and activities that will apply to what we are reading each week. On the last day of the course, students will get to watch the Disney movie that is based on the novel. All materials will be included


Taught by Mr. Ryan Wednesdays 3:30-4:30

Using various instruments and the Garage Band app, we will learn to play basic musical songs. Students will learn about music notation, rhythm, harmony, pitch, and will be able to sight read by the end of the class. Recorders, which is part of the woodwind family, will be provided. Any instruments brought from home are welcome and will be incorporated into our musical production.

The ultimate class where students will learn and see through the eyes of numerous species that are at the top of the food chain in their respective habitats. Students will be engaged in this class by participating in fun interactive projects that puts the scholar front and center with a new predator every week along with educational videos and group games to educate them on how life can be being a predator in the Animal Kingdom.

The fun world of chess! Students will be introduced to the ultimate game of mind strategy. They will learn the basic moves of a novice, to the advanced moves of a chess master. Not only will students participate in their own tournaments, they will learn to become patient thinkers and students.


Taught by Ms. Paige Wednesdays 2:30-3:30

Oceans cover about 70% of the world and is home to the majority of the Earth’s living creatures. Throughout the course of this class, we will explore the ocean and creatures that live in it. Sharks, sea turtles, dolphins will be a few of the ocean animals we learn about. We will learn about ocean currents and ocean sea levels and which animals live in specific regions. Students will get explore coral reefs and why the ocean matters and how a healthy ocean can contribute to a healthy life.
